National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
College have 2 units of NSS (100 students per unit).
The main objectives of National Service Scheme (NSS) are:
- Understand the community in which they work.
- Understand themselves in relation to their community.
- Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving.
- Develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility.
- Utilise their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems.
- Develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities.
- Gain skills in mobilising community participation.
- Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes

National Cadet Corps (NCC)
Building character, discipline, and leadership
The National Cadet Corps(NCC) unit at our college operates under the prestigious 24 Punjab Battalion, Amritsar. It aims to instil qualities of characters, courage, comradeship and discipline aming the students, grooming them into responsiable citizens and future leaders.
Total Strength: The unit has a total of 54 sanctioned seats for dedicated students.
Active Participation in Camps: Our cadets represent the college with great zeal in various national and regional camps, including:
- Yuva Aapda Mitra Camp: Specialized training in disaster management and community relief.
- Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC): Focusing on drill, firing, and personality development.
- College Events: Apart from external camps, NCC cadets remain at the forefront of all college activities, including Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations, blood donation drives, and environmental awareness campaigns.

Red Ribbon Club
Promoting health awareness since 2015
In order to create awareness about alarmingly spreading deadly disease like AIDS, the college has established Red Ribbon Club. The club organizes awareness camps on AIDS, Drug addiction, environment at regular intervals in the village areas.
Its members are students and a senior teacher acts as the Project Officer. This club organizes seminars and awareness activities to educate the students and common public.

Eco Club
Promoting environmental awareness since 2011
- Conduct regular workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns to educate students on environmental issues and sustainable practices.
- Undertake tree-planting drives and maintain green spaces on campus.
- Encourage the use of sustainable materials, minimize waste generation, and promote eco-conscious choices during events.

Youth Welfare Department
Promoting cultural and artistic talents
Every year college participates in the Youth Festival organized by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Students actively participate in theatre, literary, fine arts, music and dance items.
The purpose of this Youth Welfare are:- To create opportunities to the youth to identify and exhibit their talents.
- Spot the talents of students in elocution, poetry writing, essay writing, singing and drawing.
- Train the students and refine their skills in literature and art.

Counseling Cell
Supporting student mental health and wellbeing
Counselling cell is designed to support students in their personal and academic development. They offer a range of services, including:

- Emotional Support: Providing a confidential space for students to discuss personal concerns.
